This page explains how WebPS handles data related to your use of the site.
Last updated: May 6, 2026. Most editing in WebPS happens directly in the browser. This page explains local storage behavior, access logs, and how future advertising preferences may be handled.
1. Local image handling
When you open a local image, paste a screenshot, add text, apply filters, or export a file in WebPS, normal editing operations happen inside the browser. Opening a local image does not automatically upload it to a server.
2. Browser storage
To support undo history, temporary state, or saved preferences, the editor may use IndexedDB, Local Storage, or session-based storage. This information is generally stored on your device and is not automatically synced to a remote database.
3. Hosting and access logs
Like most websites, hosting platforms, CDNs, or security services may log basic request data such as IP address, browser type, access time, request path, and error details. This is commonly used for security, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
4. Remote resources and third-party links
If you intentionally load a remote image, follow a link to a third-party site, or use a future external integration, your browser may connect directly to that external service. Any data handling by those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Google AdSense and advertising cookies, if enabled
If WebPS later enables Google AdSense or another advertising service, those vendors may use cookies to manage ad delivery, including whether personalized ads are shown. Google may also use data based on visits to this site or other sites to tailor advertising.
You can manage or disable personalized ads through Google Ads Settings. If other ad networks are introduced in the future, this page will be updated with the relevant disclosures and opt-out information.
6. Consent and regional requirements
Where required by law, ad-related features, cookies, or personalization settings may only be enabled after consent is collected. If ad modules are introduced later, you may see privacy or consent prompts related to those features.
7. Children
WebPS is not built specifically for children. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about use by a minor, you should also consider local legal requirements and device-level parental controls.
8. Policy updates
If our data handling, hosting setup, or advertising approach changes, this page may be updated accordingly. For important changes, we recommend reviewing this policy again.
9. Contact
If you have questions about this privacy policy, local data handling, cookie disclosures, or ad-related privacy matters, please visit the support page for the public contact channel.
This policy applies to the public-facing pages and online editing service provided under WebPS.
